Open a Business Savings Account
Smart doesn’t have to mean complicated.
Opening a Business Savings Account is a great way to help grow your business.
All you need to do is fill out an online application, then fax us a few required documents. Read on to learn which documents you’ll need to supply.
BEFORE filling out the application…
You will need:
- Your Business Employer Identification Number (EIN) or Social Security Number (SSN) for Sole Proprietors
- Your Personal Social Security Number
- Your existing business checking account and routing number
Click the ‘Open Now’ button below to apply online. If you are an existing ING DIRECT Customer, enter your Customer Number and Login PIN when prompted, and we will automatically import any information that you have already supplied.
Note: If you open a business account with more than one authorized signer, you will both use your own unique Customer Numbers to access the same account. Rest assured, other authorized signers will not be able to view your personal information, including any other ING DIRECT accounts you may have.
Important information
- There is a 10 business day hold before initial deposits can be transferred back to your linked business checking account. After this hold has expired, all future deposits are subject to a 5 business day hold.
- You may grant account access to an additional two people associated with your business either during the application process or after your account has been opened.
AFTER filling out the application…
Before your account can be approved, you have 60 days to provide us with a few required documents. Choose your business type from the table below to see what documents are needed.
